You won't just learn in the classroom - the university estate, including a commercial farm, is a great way to see land management in action, not to mention visits to local farms, estates, factories and interesting properties, and guest lecturers from industry.
Surveyors and land/estate agents are, essentially, negotiators so we'll help you to develop this essential skill, as well as project management, communications, and understanding the issues affecting potential clients.
You will learn about valuation, land and property law, auctioneering, construction and surveying, property marketing, renewable energy, compulsory purchase and utilities.
