Business - Economics

​Bilgi’s business and economics program is designed for students who wish to specialize in both Business Administration and Economics. The programmes main aim is to equip our students with the basic knowledge of economics, statistics, accounting and finance, and to ensure that they have an advanced level of analytical thinking capability and managerial skills necessary to take on the international business environment.

Business and Economics overlaps with both the Economics and Business Administration courses. Students are introduced to current developments in management, business administration and economics. The core modules of the course include business administration, micro- and macroeconomic theory, statistics and econometrics.

Aware of the close relations between the fields of Business Administration and Economics, many students who wish to specialize in both fields attempt to compensate for any deficiency in one field by taking post-graduate courses in the other. The BA program in Business-Economics offers the opportunity to specialize in both at the undergraduate level.

Business and Economics are closely linked however Bilgi encourages students to focus on both in equal measure, most graduates wishing to specialise go onto complete a post-graduate degree in which field they wish to focus on.
