How to Apply

Please Download CIT Non-EU Application Form and email your application directly to international@cit.ie along with the following required supporting documents:

  1. Photo page of Passport or Birth Certificate
  2. School Leaving Examination OR High School Transcript.  Include forecast results if final results are not available
  3. SAT 1 or ACT Score (required from US applicants)
  4. Third Level Academic Transcript and Graduation Certificate (most recent transcripts if completing degree
  5. 2 Academic Reference Letters
  6. English Language Proficiency score for applicants whose first language is not English (i.e. IELTS/TOEFL)
  7. 1 passport sized photograph
  8. Statement of Purpose – a 500 word statement detailing why do you wish to study at Cork Institute of Technology

All documents must be officially translated to English.

31st May 2018

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Complete applications received are reviewed on a rolling basis and places are given on a first come, first served basis
  • Applications are assessed by the International Office and then submitted to the relevant Department for consideration
  • A final decision is made on review of each application.
  • The International Office will notify the applicant of the final decision and issue an Offer Letter or a Conditional Offer Letter to successful applicants
  • The Application process takes approximately 3 weeks on receipt of an complete application
