International Logistics

International Logistics

The logistics industry is developing rapidly both in our country and around the world. In addition to transportation, Logistics requires many other services including storage, foreign trade, customs clearance, packaging and distribution to be integrated and coordinated. The boundaries of logistics are constituted by the limits of the services’ integration. Expansion of integration of services requires better knowledge of technology and higher expertise. Activities related to Logistics are considered among the major factors which determine the efficiency and profitability of the companies in ever growing international trade volume. Providing sufficient amount of goods and services at the requested place on time and with the lowest costs became an issue of vital importance for enterprises.

Logistics Management is that part of Supply Chain Management that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customers' requirements (CSCMP, 2006).

Today, logistics constitutes an important branch of services for companies and supply chains in order to gain advantage in competition around the world. We believe it is a privilege to specialize in such a sector.
