Essential University Guide success

This year has been another positive year for Cardiff Met in terms of University League Tables. The average of the four main tables shows Cardiff Met improving, moving into the top 70 in the UK for the first time.

We have maintained our position in 2010 as the top new university in Wales with the influential Complete University Guide, published in The Independent in May, ranking us the third best University in Wales and eighth best new university in the UK. A significant contributing factor to this progress has been our improvement in student satisfaction scores, spending on our estates and facilities, the number of first/2:1 we award and our entry levels.

In this major survey of international students, Cardiff Met was ranked:

Top university in the UK for overall student satisfaction,
Top university in the UK for the quality of teaching,
Top university in the UK for accommodation support,
Top university in the UK for visa advice,
Top university in the UK for Worship facilities,
Top university in the UK for its Students Union, and
Top university in the UK for registration.
