The Department of Architecture’s curriculum provides a strong foundation in architectural theory and prepares students for the innovative field of contemporary architectural practice. The program embraces the interdisciplinary nature of the discipline and offers a broad range of courses in order to equip students with knowledge and skills that will enable them to design aesthetically pleasing, structurally safe, technologically sound, environmentally healthy, and comfortable buildings. The faculty is devoted to educate critical and independent thinkers who comprehend the importance of architecture's social impact. The physical environment supports this educational philosophy. The department is facilitated with spacious studios, classrooms with projectors, auditoriums, computer labs, and photography studios. Students also benefit from one of the best architectural library collections in the country.
