Loughborough University is ranked in the top 11 in each of the most recent national league tables, cementing its status as one of the country’s leading higher education institutions.
The league tables compare the UK’s 120+ universities on a range of criteria, including student satisfaction; research quality and graduate prospects, as well as specific subject areas. This is summarised below:
Loughborough is now ranked ahead of two thirds of the 24 universities that comprise the Russell Group, placing it firmly among the UK’s higher education elite.
We have also been named University of the Year for Sport for the second time by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017. This follows the success of the Rio 2016 Olympics where University-linked athletes brought back 42 medals from Rio, and if Loughborough had been a country at the Games it would have ranked in the world top 20.
