Three free apps to help you concentrate on studying

30th April 2018 Posted by: Student World Online

COULD downloading the right apps help to make your studying more organized, and is it possible to do it without spending a ton of money?

The answer to both of those questions is a resounding yes.

In terms of value for money, you simply cannot beat free-of-charge. But which of the huge range of free apps, available to students to help them get the best grades possible, actually work?

We've found three we really love and provided more details below.

Exam Countdown Lite

If ever there were times in life where your head shouldn't be full of worries about whether you're heading towards your goal quickly enough, exam preparation time is certainly one.

Using Exam Countdown Lite means not having to be standing there trying to work everything out in your head while you need that brain capacity to get you ready for the big dates like exams.

You set up the dates you need to work towards, then get started and check your progress through those textbook chapters and revision modules - Exam Countdown Lite keeps track, and lets you know whether you're getting enough done towards your studying goals.

After 50+ ratings on iOS App Store, the app is still rated 4.5 stars and some of the written reviews for the app are positively glowing.

It's easy to see why the features in this app make it far ahead of the rest: you can create flashcards using 22 different languages, download other students' cards using Cram.com and sync your flashcards onto other iOS devices, too.

My Study Life

My Study Life has one particularly handy feature which stands out above all of the other excellent things it offers: it helps to identify those clashes between exams dates and other assignments, which can often be the beginning of a meltdown and crisis among students (understandably).

There are some things which you might not care about being associated with, like breezing through those deadline bottlenecks while almost everyone around you is wondering how to study for an exam and also complete and essay in a matter of hours.

The app is still rated 4.7 stars, and the creators have cleared up many of the persistent teething problems present in the original version.
