How to Apply
Please Download CIT Non-EU Application Form and email your application directly to international@cit.ie along with the following required supporting documents:
- Photo page of Passport or Birth Certificate
- School Leaving Examination OR High School Transcript. Include forecast results if final results are not available
- SAT 1 or ACT Score (required from US applicants)
- Third Level Academic Transcript and Graduation Certificate (most recent transcripts if completing degree
- 2 Academic Reference Letters
- English Language Proficiency score for applicants whose first language is not English (i.e. IELTS/TOEFL)
- 1 passport sized photograph
- Statement of Purpose – a 500 word statement detailing why do you wish to study at Cork Institute of Technology
All documents must be officially translated to English.

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Complete applications received are reviewed on a rolling basis and places are given on a first come, first served basis
- Applications are assessed by the International Office and then submitted to the relevant Department for consideration
- A final decision is made on review of each application.
- The International Office will notify the applicant of the final decision and issue an Offer Letter or a Conditional Offer Letter to successful applicants
- The Application process takes approximately 3 weeks on receipt of an complete application
