How to Apply

Please Download CIT Non-EU Application Form and email your application directly to international@cit.ie along with the following required supporting documents:

Photo page of Passport or Birth Certificate
School Leaving Examination OR High School Transcript. Include forecast results if final results are not available
SAT 1 or ACT Score (required from US applicants)
Third Level Academic Transcript and Graduation Certificate (most recent transcripts if completing degree
2 Academic Reference Letters
English Language Proficiency score for applicants whose first language is not English (i.e. IELTS/TOEFL)
1 passport sized photograph
Statement of Purpose – a 500 word statement detailing why do you wish to study at Cork Institute of Technology

All documents must be officially translated to English.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Complete applications received are reviewed on a rolling basis and places are given on a first come, first served basis
Applications are assessed by the International Office and then submitted to the relevant Department for consideration
A final decision is made on review of each application.
The International Office will notify the applicant of the final decision and issue an Offer Letter or a Conditional Offer Letter to successful applicants
The Application process takes approximately 3 weeks on receipt of an complete application
