Fashion Design

Fashion is one of the disciplines of design that has influenced mankind physically and socially over the ages in terms of changing cultural patterns and social structure. Bilgi’s fashion design course focuses on both theory and practical, pushing students to be creative and bold.

There are many positions available to fashion designers around the world such as editors in magazines, designing for fashion brands, styling and fashion photography as well as image makers for fashion stores. The Bilgi fashion design course offers graduates a creative teaching experience that covers everything from basic fashion design right up to running fashion events.

Many students start their own brands whilst on the course and are given full academic support and guidance throughout their time at Bilgi. Whilst the creative aspect to this course is key, students will also learn how to interpret fashion design products in terms of disciplinary connections and how to analyse written and visual data in relation to fashion and cultural trends.
