The University of Glasgow is offering ten International Leadership Scholarships in any discipline in September 2018.
The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fees discount.
This is perfect for international students, as it's designed for international (non-EU) students starting a postgraduate taught Masters programme at one of Scotland's most prestigious universities for life sciences and medicine.

London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine's TEG Postgraduate Training Fellowship
Funded by the UK Medical Research Council, this fellowship allows a master’s student from sub-Saharan Africa to study at the (LSHTM) on the MSc in Medical Statistics.
There are two fellowships available, and they provide the support required for two years training in medical statistics.
The experience you'll have following this fellowship is invaluable, as you'll develop your statistical and research skills by working on studies with guidance from actual TEG scientists.

What about the value of the fellowship?
It's intended to help with fees, a stipend (£16,400 per annum) and return air travel.
Candidates will need to be resident in and a national of a country in sub-Saharan Africa, be in possession of an excellent degree in mathematics or statistics and have at least 1 year of work experience in medical statistics or epidemiology.
The closing date for applications is likely to be April 2019, so stay tuned.
