THE University of Bristol is one of the top places to study in the UK and has produced many graduates who have gone on to great success in a range of fields. There are many reasons why you should study at the University of Bristol but we’ve narrowed it down to 10, so you can make a decision about whether it’s the place for you!

3. University of Bristol is the 4th most targeted university by top UK employers, which shows that the University produces some of the most employable graduates.

4. It’s at the cutting edge of global research, with 83% of research rated as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. This means students benefit from teaching that is delivered by world leading academics who have made cutting edge discoveries.

5. City life in Bristol was voted the best in Britain by 20,000 students across the country.

6. There are hundreds of nationalities in Bristol and each has brought their own communities, restaurants and cultures. There’s a range of food to try, people to meet and traditions to learn about.

7. Although it’s a city Bristol has over 450 parks and open spaces. Also, if you want a break from the city you can relax in the beautiful surrounding countryside!

8. Bristol is about two hours from London, depending where you’re heading, and it’s even quicker by train. There are several international airports in London as well as one in Bristol; perfect for a quick trip home.

9. Many famous people come from Bristol including the world-renowned artist Banksy and Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams.

10. You’ll never run out of things to see and do in the city, with festivals, museums, carnivals, a zoo and lots of fun activities to try, like crazy golf, bowling and themed markets! Thanks to this Bristol is known as one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the country.

Bristol is a much loved city, and is clearly a popular place to live with a growing population of almost half a million people.
